National Maritime Museum Cornwall (122 Items)
The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, in Falmouth, welcomes over 120,000 visitors each year to see exhibitions of Cornwall's maritime history, the history of small boats and exciting programme of regularly changing exhibitions.
We are very proud of our collections of boats, objects and archives. Our large photographic archive continues to grow, one small part of which are the fishing images. As part of the MemoryFish project we have contributed 123 photos showing fishing in Cornish waters.
These were selected to provide a wide representation of different aspects of the fishing industry from fish processing on board ships, competition fishing for sharks, and of course the fishing boats themselves. These are a small selection from our collections.
This collection forms part of the MemoryFish project.
