Description

The Parsonage Well water pump opposite Aviary Court in Illogan. This was where James Tangye, who was responsible for bringing water via a series of pumps to the village, lived. He was part of a noted engineering family of the nineteenth century, being associated with Trevithick, Brunel and others of the time.
