Cornish Pilot Gigs competing in the World Pilot Gig Championships on the Isles of Scilly including 'Young Bristol' built in 2008 by Win Cnoops of Bristol, 'Talisman' built in 2011 by David Currah of Looe, ‘Zawn’ built in 2014 also by Dave Currah and 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world'.
