Description

The bow of the salvage steamer Greencastle, assisting with repairs to Penzance dock date in 1901. The gate is suspended between Greencastle and a timber beam on the dock side. Greencastle was built as a steam trawler, and sold in 1899 to the Western Marine Salvage Company of Penzance.
