Chris Eddy recalls the impact the arrival of the American troops had on South East Cornwall during World War Two, mainly in terms of roads being widened to accommodate the larger transport vehicles. The interview was recorded as part of 'Preparing for D-Day -Voices From Cornwall', a project supported by Heritage Lottery Fund in 2003.
