Description

The Norman doorway of the White Hart Hotel in Broad Street, Launceston. The hotel dates from the early eighteenth century and was refurbished in 1767, when the front was covered with Launceston red brick. It is believed that the doorway may have come from the demolished Augustinian priory near St Thomas's Church.
