The unusual site of three North Coast Lifeboats from Sennen, St Ives & Padstow operating together in a combined search for survivors from the lost St Ives based FV 'Gorah Lass' which sank near Portreath. There was also an RNLI 'Atlantic 21' RIB (rigid inflatable) involved in the search. Conditions were fresh on the day and sadly there were no survivors.
