<p>These photographs are from photographic survey by acclaimed photographer Ted Giffords (BBC’s Planet Earth) published in the book "Sovereigns, Madams & Double Whites – Fruit & Flower Pioneers of the Tamar Valley" by Jo Lewis.</p>
<p>The book results from an extensive research project to record the industry before its traces were lost.</p>
