Description

The Harbour and coalyard at Portreath. The three ships are the 'Olivia', 'Guardian' and 'Treleigh' which belonged to the Bain Shipping Company. Copper ore from the Camborne-Redruth area mines was taken to South Wales and coal for the mines was brought back.
