Description
The castle and monument on Carn Brea near Redruth. An earlier building was remodelled in the 18th Century to look like a castle by the Basset family of Tehidy who used it as a hunting lodge. The monument was erected by public subscription in 1836 to the memory of Francis, Baron de Dunstanville and Basset.
