Description

An annual tea treat with Illogan Silver Band in the grounds of Tehidy House near Camborne home of the Basset family who were influential mine owners in the County. Francis Basset was created Baron de Dunstanville in 1796. The house was later sold and in 1919 opened as a hospital for tuberculosis patients. It was purchased by the County Council in 1983 and a country park was created.
