Description

The Illogan to Redruth horse bus in Higher Broad Lane, Illogan, near the home of Thomas Merritt, who was the organist at the Methodist Chapel and composed music. He is principally remembered for the music which is used for a number of Christmas Carols, including 'Hark, the Herald Angels Sing' and 'Angels from the Realms of Glory'.
