Description
Gangers working on the railway line, possibly around the Mary's Well area of Illogan. Built in 1837, it linked the mining areas of Camborne and Redruth to the coal port of Portreath and was part of the Hayle Railway. At first horse drawn trams were used but later steam locomotives.
