Description
Fern harvesting by the monument on the top of Carn Brea, near Redruth. The monument is a memorial to Francis Basset, Lord de Dunstanville of Tehidy, and was paid for by public subscription. The memorial reads 'The County of Cornwall to the memory of Francis, Lord de Dunstanville and Basset AD 1836'.
