Description
Orchestra and choir at Climax Engineering Works at Pool on the occasion of the 'Works Wonder Broadcast' on 26 June, 1943. During World War II a BBC outside broadcast van visited factory canteens during the lunch break and radio entertainment was provided for the war workers. There were a variety of similar programmes such as 'Workers' Playtime' and 'Music While You Work'.
