Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Gig Championship on the Isles of Scilly including ‘Irene’ built in 2002 by Mashfords of Torpoint, 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', 'Richard Lander' built in 2005 by Andrew Nancarrow of Bissoe and 'Joker' built in 1997 by Dave Currah of Looe.
