Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Gig Championship on the Isles of Scilly including 'Emma Louise' built in 2004 by Peter Martin on St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly, ‘Pilgrim’ built in 2004 by Brian Pomeroy of Dartmouth, 'Hope' built in 2000 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a historic fish cellar in Newquay, 'Merthen' built in 1999 by Jim and David Currah of Looe, ‘Petroc’ built in 2004 also by Jim and Dave Currah, 'Lantic' built in 2003 by Maurice Hunkin of Fowey and 'Mary Newman' built in 1996 by Jim and Dave Currah.
