Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot gig Championships held on the Isles of Scilly. Among those pictured are 'Merthen' built in 1999 by Jim and David Currah of Looe, 'Old Harry' built in 2002 by Alan Hangar of Weymouth, 'Swift' built in 2009, 'Millers Daughter' built in 2003 both by Jim and David Currah, 'Hope' built in 2000 by Ralph Bird of Devoran and named after a historic fish cellar in Newquay and 'Emma Louise' built in 2004 by Peter Martin of Gweek.
