Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot gig Championships held on the Isles of Scilly. Among those pictured are ‘Manacle Belle’ built in 2005 by Maurice Hunkin of Fowey, 'Shah' built in 1873 by the Peters family of St Mawes, ‘Penlee Point’ built in 2002 by David and Jim Currah of Looe, ‘Pilgrim’ built in 2004 by Brian Pomeroy of Dartmouth, 'Mary Newman' built in 1996 also by Dave Currah, ‘Isolde’ built in 2007 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, 'Lannvorek' built in 2009 and 'Bolster' built in 2006 both by Andrew Nancarrow of Bissoe.
