Cornish Pilot Gigs during the World Pilot Gig Championships held on the Isles of Scilly including 'Roscarrock' built in 2005 by Peter Williams of Bodinnick, 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', and ‘Avarack’ built in 2000 by Andrew Nancarrow of Bissoe.
