Description

Cornish Pilot Gigs on the beach at St Agnes in the Isles of Scilly. ‘Golden Eagle’ built in 1870 by the Peters family of St Mawes, ‘Serica’ built in 1967 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, ‘Nornour’ built in 1971 by Gerald Pearn of Looe, ‘Dove’ built 1820, ‘Newquay’ built in 1812, the oldest known Cornish Pilot Gig and ‘Bonnet’ built in 1830 all by the Peters family of St Mawes.
