Cornish Pilot Gigs competing in the World Pilot Gig Championships on the Isles of Scilly. Pictured are 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', 'Kensa' built by Peter Martin of Gweek, 'Polvarth' built in 2007 by Jim and Dave Currah of Looe and 'Morah' built in 2017 also by Dave Currah.
