Cornish Pilot Gigs competing in the World Pilot Gig Championships in the Isles of Scilly including 'Golden Eagle' built in 1870, 'Bonnet' built in 1830, 'Czar' built in 1879 all by the Peters family of St Mawes and 'William Peters' built in 1987 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after the renowned 19th Century boatbuilder from St Mawes.
