Cornish Pilot Gigs taking place in the Newquay Championships including 'Teazer' built in 1988 by Peter Foard and Tom Dudley of Mevagissey, 'William Peters' built in 1987 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after the renowned 19th Century boatbuilder from St Mawes, 'Good Intent' built in 1973 and 'Speculation' built in 1987 both by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary's, named after historic fish cellars in Newquay and 'Endeavour' built in 1988 also by Tom Dudley and Peter Foard.
