Description

Cornish Pilot Gigs 'Energetic' built in 1991, ‘Dasher’ built in 1989, ‘Fly’ built in 1993, named after a historic Newquay fish cellar, 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', 'Fury' built in 1992 and ‘William Peters’ built in 1987, named after the renowned Cornish Pilot Gig builder William Peters of St Mawes taking part in the County Championship held at Newquay. All, except ‘Dasher’ which was built by Peter Reveley of Padstow, were built by Ralph Bird of Devoran.
