Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Championships held in the Isles of Scilly including 'Energy' built in 1985 by Falmouth Marine School and 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world'.
