Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Championships held in the Isles of Scilly including Cornish Pilot Gig 'Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', 'Fury' built in 1992, ‘Isis’ built in 1993 again both by Ralph Bird, ‘Goldrush’ built in 1996 by Andrew Nancarrow of Bissoe and 'Ryder' built in 1992 by Jim & Dave Currah of Looe.
