Cornish Pilot Gigs racing off Mylor including 'Good Intent' built in 1973 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary's, ‘Ann Glanville' built in 1990 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after a lady born in Saltash in 1796 who was self-proclaimed as 'champion rower of the world', 'Energy' built in 1985 by Falmouth Technical College, 'Corsair' built in 1991 by Peter Reveley of Padstow, 'Mystery' built in 1991 by Peter Foard of Porthmellon, 'Sowenna' built in 1990 by Peter Moore of Mevagissey, 'Royal' built in 1988 also by Ralph Bird, 'Dasher' built in 1987 again by Peter Reveley, 'Lyonesse' built in 1988, 'Buller' built in 1986 both again by Ralph Bird, 'Cape Cornwall' built in 1990 another by Peter Reveley, 'William Peters' built in 1987 yet another by Ralph Bird, named after the renowned 19th Century boat builder of St Mawes.
