Cornish Pilot Gigs on the beach at St Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly. Among those pictured are ‘Mystery’ built in 1991 by Peter Foard of Mevagissey, ‘Fear Not’ built in 1991 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, ‘Socoa’ built in 1990 by John Moore of Mevagissey, 'Royal' built in 1988 and 'Rhos' built in 1989 also by Ralph Bird, 'Ryder' built in 1992 by Jim and Dave Currah of Looe, ‘Odessa’ built in 1994, ‘Spirit of Rame’ built in 1993 by G and J Donne of St Budeaux, Plymouth and ‘Corsair’ built in 1991 by Peter Reveley of Padstow.
