Dr Theo Blackmore interviewing Richard Pryor, a blind retired social worker, about living with disability in general and in Cornwall in particular. Richard talks about his life before and after going totally blind at the age of 28, including his rehabilitation course at Manor House, Torquay, his move into social work, the differences in support for the visually impaired in Cornwall and elsewhere and how this has changed over the years and the setting up of BATS, Blind at Sea. This interview was recorded as part of the 'Remembering and Reflecting' project undertaken for Disability Cornwall by Dr Theo Blackmore.
