Description

Ted Gundry in conversation with Clara Strick of Pendeen, discussing memories of her life in the Pendeen area. She also describes how the family lived in Wales during the 1920's when her father migrated in search of work in the coal mines. She recalls the strikes, the Eisteddfodd and the kindness of the Welsh people. Her father worked in Geevor Tin Mine and also in mines in Rhodesia. Her husband worked in Boscaswell Stores.
