Description
Ted Gundry in conversation with Debbie Sharp who talks about her father and his career in the Royal Flying Corp. She describes how he crashes three times in France and encountered the Red Baron in the air. She also recalls how he was sent to convalesce at Heligan after one of his many accidents. After the war he kept bees and was involved in the production of mead. He also wrote pantomine and toured locally, performing them as part of a family troupe. Debbie describes life in the village and the lengths they went to have water and electricity in the home.
