Description
Ted Gundry in conversation with Alf Jenkins who talks about the ships figureheads preserved in the Valhalla section of Tresco Gardens on the Isles of Scilly. He tells the story of the vessel 'Sophie' which the crew of Cornish Pilot Gig 'Sussex' salvaged. Alf describes how eighty years after the 'Colossus' went down the cannons were salvaged from the wreck and placed around the Garrison on St Mary's.
