Ted Gundry in conversation with Professor Charles Thomas talking about his book 'Views and Likenesses', which explores Cornwall's photographic history. He explains how key events in the development of early photography link to Cornwall and Cornish photographers. Charles describes the work of chemist, Robert Hunt, Secretary of the Royal Polytechnic Society in Falmouth, who shared his knowledge of the photographic art' through lectures across Cornwall and publications and inspired others to undertake photography from as early as 1841.
