Description

Alan Combellack talks about his time at Penrose Road school between 1955 and 1959 and recalls his first misdemeanor at Helston County Secondary School. He also describes segregation in the playground and Friday detentions. Helston County Secondary School was formerly known as Helston Secondary Modern School. In the sixties and early seventies the Penrose Road school was known locally as the ‘Green School’ because of its uniform of dark green and grey.
