Description

Peter Gilson recalls his memories of World War Two. He describes watching HMS Cambeltown leave Falmouth Harbour as part of a convey heading to raid St Nazaire, a key port used by the Germans for their larger Warships. The interview was recorded as part of 'Preparing for D-Day -Voices From Cornwall', a project supported by Heritage Lottery Fund in 2003.
