Description

The Folly on Mount Edgcumbe Estate near Maker on the Rame Peninsula. This was built in 1747, replacing a navigational obelisk, using stone from the demolished churches of St George and St Lawrence in Stonehouse, Plymouth. Drake's Island is to the right of the folly.
