These photographs are from Glyn's personal collection, taken during a 36-year career with Cornwall's fishery protection agency as the Engineer/Fishery Officer. Many of the pictures within this collection were taken while aboard the patrol boats Palores, Verifier, and Saint Piran, as they went about their business patrolling the seas around Cornwall's beautiful coast.

Glyn Richards joined the Cornwall Sea Fisheries Protection Service as the Engineer/Fishery Officer where he was to spend the next 36 years patrolling the coasts of Cornwall from their base in Newlyn. Newlyn Harbour in the 1970s
Description
An account of the resource
Newlyn Harbour in the 1970s. The forlorn view of the Cynthia-Yvonne, formerly the Rosebud, aground at half-tide just before her decomissioning. The pump hose on the deck shows that she was leaking badly. Later she went to Lelant and was eventually broken up.
