Description

The schooner Mary Barrow, of Barrow-in-Furness, carrying coal to Cowes, beached at Porthminster. A week later she was refloated and towed to Falmouth (where she had been built, in 1891). Repaired there, she carried on sailing until wrecked on the Isle of Man in 1938.
