Among those pictured Tresco and Bryher Gig Rowing Club’s Cornish Pilot Gig ‘Men-A-Vaur’ built in 1981 by Gerald Peard; St Mary’s (IOS) Club’s ‘Nornour’ built in 1971 also by Gerald Pearn of St Mary’s (IOS); London Cornish Club's 'Rhos' built in 1989 by Ralph Bird of Devoran; St Mary’s (IOS) Club’s ‘Serica’ built in 1967 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s; Mevagissey Club's ‘Endeavour’ built in 1988 by Dudley and Foard and Roseland Club’s ‘William Peters’ built in 1987 by Ralph Bird of Devoran and named after the renowned Cornish Pilot Gig builder William Peters of St Mawes
