Jed Trewin and Roger Richards, Helston County Secondary School
About this item
Jed Trewin and Roger Richards share their unhappy memories at Penrose Road school between 1963 and 1968. They describe punishments and discipline. They also share happy memories of growing up on the Lizard Peninsula. Helston County Secondary School was formerly known as Helston Secondary Modern School. In the sixties and early seventies the Penrose Road school was known locally as the ‘Green School’ because of its uniform of dark green and grey.
