Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Gig Championship on the Isles of Scilly including ‘Ralph Bird’ built in 2008 and named after its builder, Ralph Bird of Devoran, 'Cadmus' built in 2003 by Brian Pomeroy of Dartmouth, ‘Energy' built in 1985 by Falmouth Technical College students, 'Samphire' built in 1999 by David and Jim Currah of Looe, ‘Jupiter’ built in 1997 by Dave Currah, ‘Dolphin’ built in 1968 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s and 'Morlader' built in 2001 by Peter Martin of Gweek.
