Ladies race during the World Pilot Gig Championships held on the Isles of Scilly. Among the Cornish Pilot Gigs pictured are ‘Volante’ built in 1997 by Brian Pomeroy of Dartmouth, ‘Millers Daughter’ built in 2003 and ‘Minnadhu’ built in 1995 both by Jim & Dave Currah of Looe. In the foreground celebrating are a Dutch crew.
