Description
Cornish Pilot Gigs on the beach at St Agnes in the Isles of Scilly. ‘Nornour’ built in 1971 by Gerald Pearn of Looe, ‘Serica’ built in 1967 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, ‘Golden Eagle’ built in 1870 by the Peters family of St Mawes and ‘Bonnet’ built in 1830 also by the Peters family of St Mawes. Along with ‘Dove’ and ‘Newquay’ built by William Peters of St Mawes, 1820 and 1812 respectively.
