Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Gig Championships held on the Isles of Scilly including ‘William Peters’ built in 1987, named after the renowned Cornish Pilot Gig builder William Peters of St Mawes, ‘Lyonnesse’ built in 1998 both by Ralph Bird, ‘Serica’ built in 1967 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, ‘Rival’ built in 1989 another by Ralph Bird and 'Islander' built in 1989 also by Tom Chudleigh.
