Glyn Richards worked as an Engineer and Fisheries Officer for 36 years. Many of the pictures within his collection were taken while aboard the patrol boats Palores, Verifier, and Saint Piran, as they went about their business patrolling the seas around Cornwall's beautiful coast.

Glyn's collection offers a unique perspective, from boarding fishing boats to inspect the catch, to close encounters with sea mammals, giant factory ships, and stormy weather. When on board his camera was always kept in the 'wheel house' ready to capture life on the seas. His photos span from the mid-1970s all the way through to 2000.
